$52M Exit to Fortune 500 | CEO of Deepblue | Fortune 1000 Advisor
I’ve spent over two decades in tech and cybersecurity, from programming and reverse engineering to Global CISO to board advisor. I co-founded SCADAfence and sold it to Honeywell for $52M.
Now I run Deepblue, advising Fortune 1000 companies on enterprise security. I dedicate most of my time to AI safety research, where I help ensure this transformative technology is adopted safely and responsibly.
I'm also active on LinkedIn and Instagram (links at the bottom of the page), where I share cybersecurity, AI, and business lessons I've learned.

Frameworks, systems, and lessons from building a company from zero to a $52M exit—shared with founders building their first businesses.

I’m a self-taught builder, cybersecurity veteran, and founder behind a $52M exit to Honeywell. I've always been driven by impact: volunteering, donating, and focusing on work that matters. I've spent the last two decades working across technical, leadership, and advisory roles in cybersecurity. Today, alongside leading Deepblue and advising a Fortune-1000 firms, I'm focused on AI safety research: an issue with profound consequences for humanity.

I was always entrepreneurial and fascinated with business. At 23, I quit a high-paying consulting role without a backup plan to pursue a bigger vision. A friend and I recognized a gap in critical infrastructure protection, and spent the next years building and scaling a fast-growing cybersecurity company (SCADAfence). That company was acquired for $52M by a Fortune 500 company (Honeywell). I later started Deepblue, a Fortune 1000 cyber advisory firm, which I'm still leading to this day.

I’ve worked across offensive security, defensive technology, service delivery, and executive leadership. My background includes serving as Chief Security Architect for Americanas, one of South America’s largest retailers with 60,000 employees, and Global CISO for Hunter Douglas, a 30,000-employee international manufacturer, where I continue to advise management.
Recognized as one of the top global experts in industrial cybersecurity, I now lead Deepblue, helping Fortune 1000 companies protect critical infrastructure and strengthen resilience against sophisticated threats.

"Ofer is one of the most professional people I know - thoughtful, well-prepared, and always pushing for a high standard in everything he does. He can navigate properly from the most strategic issues to operational topic, considering confidence and quality."

CISO, $25B Energy Company
I’m most motivated by work that has meaningful impact. I’ve volunteered as a programming teacher for low-income adults making career changes, helped the CEO of an arts nonprofit with fundraising, and created free educational content on tech and business. Today, I focus on AI safety, because I believe reducing catastrophic AI risk is one of the most important challenges of our time.

I’ve always been passionate about motorcycle and car racing. I enjoy challenging myself, pushing beyond my comfort zone, and constantly learning new skills. I believe in taking risks and accepting the possibility of failure instead of always playing it safe.

I maximize my positive impact by working on important problems that are ignored by others, and in which I have a strong personal fit.
I avoid unnecessary pain by accepting things as they are. This allows me to be at peace, content with life, and do everything with joy.
I work to improve my understanding of the world, refine my beliefs, and improve my skills through curiousity, humility, and accountability.
